Card was used... and thus the reason i never shut it off. I knew they'd be able to track it and as soon as I got my first bill after the incident I showed data usage on it. Now they'll be paying me for back log on that as well.

As soon as I get more info on the chop shop I'll let you guys know.

As for my property, I'll get most of the stuff back soon. Ironically the cops will be giving me my Valentine V1 radar detectory back, that's gotta suck for them. As for the pistol, it will go up to the capital for ballistics testing to make sure it wasn't used in any homicides or anything and after all the testing and such, I shall get it back. When will I get it back? Who knows. LOL But at least it will be back. Battle scars and all.

It's supposed to hit 62 today Time for a tranny fluid change. No sense waiting til its below freezing again to crawl under da kaa. First time using the GM SM Friction Mod stuff. Can't wait to see how it feels.

So......... I thought my old job was unbelievably kick-ass, but when the sales manager tosses you the keys for an 08 WRX and says 'put it through it's paces', I'm pretty sure that trumps everything.
That is until we get the 08 STI's in next week.

I LOVE THIS JOB!!!!

I can't believe how well that car handled. I took it to a series of dead streets near my old shop that go in a circle. The pavement is very uneven in places, and there's patches of snow up to 6inches deep (mostly through the corners, w00t!) , mixed with icy patches, and clear patches with loose gravel. The road itself has three great sweeping corners, and one sharp turn.
It was so so so so so much fun.
And Bobert, I didn't even pee. You'd be proud.

Anyway, the car took it like a champ. I can't wait to do the same thing with the STI's.
Anyone wanna come for a test drive with me?

Oh yeah, and on a more solemn note, tomorrow is the two year anniversary of my Teg being stolen.
Tonight I'm going to head over to the spot where they found her shell. You know, cause I'm sentimental like that.
