On a slightly-related note, did anyone else pick up the blurb from the NAIAS about the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart? Instead of a prettied FWD Lancer, it's a baby Evo. 2 liter turbo and AWD.
Yeah, I've heard rumors/plans for a baby EVO too. Something to compete against base WRXs. Not sure how close it is to USDM production though...

We've had the Evo 260 for years....
Fixed :P What are the specs on the 260? Roughly...

So the 260 is just an EVO8? I think I read that this baby EVO would be around 225hp. :shurg:

Well when they came out they were classed as a baby Evo

just regular GSR's rated at 276bhp were consistently putting down 300bhp on dyno's, and they're the FQ-300 model. then we got the FQ-320, FQ-340 and they brought out a limited run FQ-400 too, but they were a bit shit

then they brought out the 260, everything about it is watered down, smaller wing, less power and torque, crappier wheels etc.

Does the 260 share the same body as the big Evo? Here, a Lancer Ralliart was their crappy FWD commuter (think older Corolla) with a wing and some stickers.

The new Ralliart seems to use the cheapo Lancer body styling, but some of the Evo innards.

LOL, you must remember... the US always gets shit. So our best model was your watered down one :P We never had any FQ-300...320,340,400. Our EVO 8 was around the 260-270 mark.

I haven't driven one of the STi's yet, seeing as they have summer tires on them......
300hp + icy snowy roads + an exuberant Dawn - ice tires = a 95% chance of ouch x a brazillion.

And that concludes todays math lesson. :P

However, I have humped them all. lol
