Hola :D

Trying so hard not to bolt for the hills - boss is gone, and I'm looking at a five-day weekend.

If anyone is near/around Seven Springs, PA, meet us for beverages at one of the hotel bars!

doing fine.

work is busy as fawk.
sorta hit me like a ton of bricks (or maybe I did not see it coming) :P

Family is doing well. :)
We had "Family Learning Night" yesterday for both B and S.

The Pilot is doing well. I will get it inspected and washed tomorrow morning while I am out.
I need to get the tires balanced and the alignment checked.
After the $ looks ok... we are going to order a rear cargo mat and some MDX rear subframe braces. (:bling:)

The wagon is also well. I checked it this a.m. and she gets ~21mpg's in the city. I have been using 87 in her while it is cold out side.
:?

Just trying to pay off debt and life cheap (hard to do that with a family).

Oh yeah Boberto, your advice is freaking great! Mr. Drifto and I are going strong, and now I should be able to find some time to come here too. Now that the week from hell is over.
So w00t-mutha-luvin-w00t for that!!!

Know what's badass?
When you find a bottle of your favorite wine that you forgot you had in your pantry, and a rogue Monte Cristo in the bottom of your humidor.

Yes kids, it's true. For once God is NOT smiting me. Yayzerz!

JOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Holy crap buddy!!! It's been many moons since I talked to you! How you is??????

I can't believe that I totally didn't tell you guys about me driving the new STi!!!!! Constantly!!!! lol
I was supposed to write a review on it, too! Gawd, my rememory sux.

Anyway, long story short is 08 STi > everythingonthefaceoftheearthandquitepossiblyonthefaceofeveryotherplanetthatweknowofandoneortwothatareunnamedstill.

Although my opinion may be a little biased. lololololz!

Honestly, it's a great car.
The car can get rowdy, but the awd ensures you have tons o traction. Some of that rowdy feeling could just stem from the fact that my car has no torque, where as this car has a gloriously excessive amount.
The gears are smooth, and turbo lag is non existant with regular driving.
The new si drive is stellar, and gives a new dimension of control. The car feels nimble, and rides like it's on rails. The braking is really aggressive, and the steering is assertive.
One main thing I noticed is that the shifter looks too tall, but yet it actually has very little travel in between gears. Very positive feeling, and it matches the clutch perfectly.

Plus it's not covered in plastic cladding like a certain other competitor I know of. *cough*Evo*cough*
Although our ghey ass clear tails aren't really boosting sales much. lol
:P

Anyway, that concludes Dawn's cliffnotes version of the STi review.
I'll write a nice big full one soon enough, and post more pix, too.

Still home for this week, nice to know Dawnse is living large. Best to enjoy both in a hot bubble-bath.
