safe, I stopped driving last night and slept in the WRX
I had another 10mins before reaching my friend's house But I just couldn't see.
So the parking lot seemed like a good idea.

Jup... or if you know of someone that has a OEM header (D16Z6) that is for sale 'cheap'... I will buy that so I can return the one that I am borrowing.
A used aftermarket unit would be prefered.

I think I know someone with a y8 header laying around, but it's in md

IF the header is close I95 in MD, I'd be willing to pick it up for you, Will.
Stupid battery in WRX has gone dead on a few occasions. I hear it's just a Subaru thing... Dealer replaces w/o question. I think it's the 4th one in there now.

I think any D-series aftermarket header will work.
The motor is a D15Z1 (VX) motor... but the car currently has a D16Z6 (EX/SI) header (and full exhaust) on it.
Used/aftermarket/cheap = bling.
Then it will be time to head to the dyno for a re-tune.

To be honest... I had more fun at VIR with the new cibbix than I had in my itr.
I hope Yack get the vid hosted up soon....
The mpg's are a nice thing
I need to take a nice long hwy trip to see if I can top 50.
Once I get the header, bolt on some under body mods, and let Jack work his majix on the ECU... she will be ready for a mpg challenge.
-pull off mirrors and wipers
-tape up the hood
-install the grill blocker
-42psi
-gas pedal stop block
It sure is fun rolling to work and keeping it under 2K rpm for the whole drive in.
D15Z1 for life
