HT has another AD stickied to the top of the forum. Gary(The Dude) posted some links describing the marketing behind the ads. I wonder if these had anything to do with the maintenance going on the other day.

I hate advertisements with a passion. Anyone remember the days of the Interweb
before ads??? Hell, I remember when Penthouse was free

I'm paying about that much Joe. Adding the 98' more than doubled my premiums. It had tripled them until I put the deductable at $1000 for both comprehensive and collision. Since the car won't be driven until around April it was silly not to up the deductibles.
You are probably in a better position than I am. Since my civic is a 93', the newer car automatically is your primary. Guess which car they put the multi-car discount on? The civic.
No one around it. Like you said, part of the game. I'l be 25 soon enough.

Yeah, turning 25 helps a lot. I'm 27. The agent (State Farm) was saying if I store the caR for the winter, then premium is reduced 75% during that period. My quote was for 100k/300k coverage and $250 comp deduct and $500 collision deduct. Plus rental, no-fault, other crap. I'll be taking a 1-day driving class for $25. It'll reduce it by 10% for 3 years. Only other way to get it cheaper would be to try and put it under parents policy...I think. Plus move out of the effing city

I hinted at the idea of storing my car during the winter, but I never asked the question directly. I will check into that.

The agent "claimed" State Farm was the only one to do that, dropping the cost that much. Basically, no need for collision or liability...just comprehensive. She said if snow collapsed the garage I'd still be covered
Luckily our garage has 12" wide concrete block walls and heavy duty rafters.
