If it was legal and I knew how to... BANG!
Right outside my door, maybe 150 ft.
There was 7, no bucks insight. But with that many females wouldn't there be one close by?

Nice! There could be a buck hanging out in the woods. They tend to be more reclusive than does/fawns. He may have already "checked them out" before they left the woods. If the females don't smell right, he'll leave in search of others. This point of the year, most females are already bred too. Mating season is almost over.

Once in a while I get an error, refresh usually helps. Happen a few mins ago, good now.

They do love corn. Probably the easiest and best choice for any bait. Their most preferred staple food is high protein green vegetation like alfalfa, soybeans, clover and chicory.

just getting ready for the 3 day weekend.
using some comp time to roll out before lunch today and eat at school with one of the daughters.

So who else is cold? 25 here, single-digit low expected tomorrow morning. Doesn't sound too bad, but eastern NC isn't used to this shit. Honestly, some people were driving like conditions were dangerous this morning.
