You're preaching to the choir Joe, I can't agree more. I grew up in a semi-rural area where everybody even the wimmenfolk had guns and that sorta madness just didn't happen. This is ridiculous, I can't believe how badly this site is getting spammed now. I was blown away when I checked the active topics. Apparently this domain is officially on their list. What are the current systems in place to prevent flood protection?

Ive cleaned over 50 topics in the last 2 days...trust me Im active for the ex mod trying to take stabs


I have left one topic from each spammer in the Mod section for admin banning...


If I was a Admin I would be able to handle up on them myself but I have very limited rights so Ill do what i can to keep the site clean of spam.

Other sites like VAdrivern, team-integra.net, tennespeed.com etc use a post control process for new users. Their first 10-30-75 posts must be approved by a moderator. Now I understand this will make more work for the moderators. I think it is worth it, and I believe others will agree with me. If their is a need, I am sure others would be willing to handing this additional work load.

I would be fine with a separate table holding these threads. Designated members could be given the duty of allowing or denying these posts (and spam). They could have "mod" access this area only. Who knows, I'm just thinking aloud at 2am. Maybe I have been working in SQL too much for school.

This is fucking ridiculous, we're getting other languages now.
