I personally run a Bell M3 which is a very popular model for its price and fitment. I think the M4 is the latest revision of that model. I'm a big fan of companies that support Expo, offer great customer support, and are ITR owners themselves.
My commanding officer (steezy) rolls with it, I tried it on, I like the way it feels and especially the price. Only downfall is that it doesn't come in

I'm down for supporting an ITR supporter though as long as the price is reasonable. Do you have a link for Victors helmets?

Luke, I see what you did there. I'm set on buying this helmet

What is Victor offering?
keep in mind that that helmet will only be usable (with most groups/sanctioning bodies) till 2015. The SA2010/11 helmets are supposed to come out this october if you can borrow one or want to get a somewhat cheaper one to use until then. Those helmets will be good till 2020. May save you some money/hassle.

oops. OK well then, yeah that one! I'm glad I posted that because I almost bought it today at work! haha. I'm trying to let all the purchases clear from my Key West trip. Might have to wait until pay day next week to pull the trigger on pads, helmet, and registration.

I know, I hate it. Totally hate that you won't be able to make it out of all people. At least I'll know a couple guys out there, none of which will be in my class but oh well I guess.

Yeah, I don't think I'll get to go back to CMP this year... Have I tried selling you on Mid Ohio in August yet?

Fail. I do hope to hit VIR this year for the first time.
Yes, you've talked me into Mid Ohio among others here. As much as the ITR community will flame me, I am weighing heavily towards towing the car there somehow. We'll see what I can work out logistically. This fall my vacation days renew and it looks like next spring I'll be spending at least a couple weeks in Italy so I need to make sure I am not in a bind there.

No need to tow, seriously. My project car is a has been out of commission more int he past year than it has been running. I still drove it on four large 7+ road trips with no worries. One of which was 12 hours each way.
Your car should run like a top.

Jesus it's 8 hours, you act like we're going to Laguna Seca. Take a half day on friday and maybe take off the following monday, big D.
I've done plenty of 12+ hour road trips (21 for the voyage home with the black one) in ITR's and they're fine.

Ive always driven to and from the track. No need to not unless you simply have a really unreliable car, which is not the case with you. Just do it! It's a nice cushy ride anyway and a/c is far from necessary. Or just install it beforehand since you should have all components (I believe).

oh I know it will be fine, that's not my dilemma. I just have this weird thing about keeping unnecessary miles off my cars. I seriously rent cars to drive down to FL just to keep miles down. We'll see.

I may have rolled over 150k today and forgot to pay attention. These arn't domestics, these are japanese high revving econo boxes. They are meant to be driven and driven hard. Your car has lived a great life of track, auto-x, and long road trips. It's still holding strong so no need to worry. Drop your low miles fetish.

Good evening guys - whats going on?
I"m officially unemployed as of Friday! Pretty weird but I am happy about it - I'm finally out of retail and now I can put that degree to work - just have to focus on getting a finance related job!
