I just saw that on the news and wondered if it hit you.
Yeah we got hit. Luckily I had just made room in the garage and had the R in there. Driving around town right now and about 80% of cars have dints.

I'm not going on holiday = IDGAF about volcanic ash

Hail stones that big though would have me worried that the beater would end up looking like a golf ball

"so I sold that bumper and purchased a brand new OEM bumper and had it painted by a high end shop because I needed perfection."

You're trying to sell a 'collector' Type-R that has non-matching VINs and non-factory paint for $30,000? Good luck.

-------

LOL, dont waste my time with stupid remarks please. Isold this same car once for 23,000 in two weeks the buyer was happy the bumper was replaced after seeing what original looked like. I purchased the car back from the guy I sold it to and to be honest with you I dont want to sell the car which is why I listed it so high because I know it wont sell for 30k, I am not an idiot. Thanks

he said he only put it up for 30k to make his wife happy but he knows it won't sell at that price. Major flaw in the argument, if it doesn't sell then it only proves what an awesome "investment" it really was

I didn't realize it didn't have factory paint, what a tool... About as bad as the dude on 98 trying to sell it for 18k+ with a JRSC as if is an equity builder

Front bumper is the only repaint iirc. In theory the R could be restored to matching VINs if the next owner made Shawn (getRIGHT) a good enough offer. :P
That '98 is clean...too bad on the JRSC. Not sure how long the FI has been on that one.

just tested my goPro in that same spot. did you just stick it to the bumper or make your way up to the actual bumper support? Mine is a little shaky on the bumper so I may move the mount up there

Its stuck to the bumper, right in front of where the lic plate bracket would go. I tried to put it on the bumper support bar but I couldnt quite tell if the grille was going to get in the way of the lense or not. I then used a wad of tape to kinda halfway stick the camera case to the grille itself for further support. It turned out pretty well I thought.
Here's what it looked like.

yeah, it's not bad. The only problem is that the file sizes are disturbingly huge. that 2 min video is almost 200mb. 12 min of video is about 1.5Gb. That's at 1280x720 at 60fps
