I am having a pm convo with ICBMatt right now on NWP. You can find him there.
Can you ask him real quick for me? I don't really have any desire to create an account there.

Considering just getting the USDM B16 pistons., it'll give it the similar (yet mild) compression game as the JDM P73's

I have P30's in my car (JDM B16 pistons)

Steezy... I may have something for you... I think I have a set of OEM USDM and OEM JDM ITR pistons at the shop in FL. I'll contact Sr. and see what's really down there.

Steezy, see if ^^^ comes through. JDM ITR Pistons I think would be perfect for what you're looking to do.

Well they are the original choice but it looks like nobody sells them anymore (even if they list them).

Dave, if those P73's are new let me know. In the market for .25 over w/ rings.

If not the PR3 (usdm b16's) will probably be what I go with.

The ones I have/had are used. I pulled them out to put the P30's in. I just have to make sure they are still there. 10k miles or less on them

IIRC they were STD as well. I think I still have a set of new rings as well. Not being down there sucks sometimes, not sure what is there anymore. :P

Can't, for various reasons the block has to see the machine shop again and has to go .25 over, it's not a big deal.

and PS, i'm not paying for the pistons for stated reasons above, so it'll just be a dealership part.

P30's > Pr3. You'll get a little more compression, I'm not sure exactly how much, but that's probably the route I'll be going.

.2 cr in difference in a normal b18c5, plus it seems as if USDM pistons are the only ones that we can get our hands on.

Wow, that takes me back a bit, I only have vague memories of it, but it wasn't bad.

Now, Omega Man was a crazy movie!

If the head has NOT been milled, get the CTR's and never look back.

trust me

ah shit, too late. Not sure if I was comfortable with that route, went with USDM B16 pistons instead. Given the shit I've went through in this process I'm sure you can understand. Next time around you'll get it and we can try the CTR route.
