Eric, looks like you're going to run into the same availability issues with the P30's, fyi.

Are those higher compression than usdm itr? I have forgotten much about the piston world, other than p72, p73, and p30.

I'm curious to know what I can exactly get away with while keeping factory ecu.

I've grown civil at my old age. On the plus side while it's down Red will be throwing in a 4.875B18CXr wrote:Given the shit I've went through in this process I'm sure you can understand

they're VERY close to the same compression that the JDM ITR's would have made, my main requirement was something I could plug in a stock ECU and drive it on the annual trip to the NC state inspection facility.cheezthis wrote:Are those higher compression than usdm itr? Nah, I'm letting those guys finish what they started... they were cool enough to fess up to their mistake. I would be stoked if he handled the black car though, that thing needs it as well.CivicBeater wrote:^^ So I take it Jack isn't rebuilding? I guess you don't need to drive mine then eh? Ah ok. When you said Red I thought you may had been referring to those honda/acura techs in wilmington you mentioned about engine builders. Or maybe you are, and "those guys" are taking your car to them.itrsteez wrote:Nah, I'm letting those guys finish what they started... they were cool enough to fess up to their mistake.
