Taxes in Spartenburg county are even less. :)

Jim has seen what 150k can buy you. I could only imagine how much more I could get for another 90k.

The houses across the street from me are around 3600 sq/ft, walk out basement on a creek. Good neighborhood, best schools in the area and those are 250k.

It's nuts what little will buy you here.

250 here will get you 18-2600 in taxes!

Doespike wrote:haha, it's not all that bad really. Summers are still great. Winters just drag a bit longer than I'd like....though with doing taxes past 4 years + remote start, I don't notice it much :P Plus houses are as cheap or cheaper than Carolinas. Toxic politics though....but yoo know that being on the other end of NY.

Worst part of new work are the taxes! Let everyone know what taxes you pay on 250k.....

My night consisted of dinner with family, helping Jake finish his social studies project, orchestrating five baths/showers (we have Dave's two kids over too), and a late night run to the store to buy poster board for the project because Jake "forgot" he needed it for the project. I then watched the second half of the Gamecocks show why the SEC is the best conference in college football drinking a vitamin water. Man I'm getting old...

I haven't been there but from the pictures your house looks like it would be an easy 260-275 here.

I have some projects to wrap up but I will be resume blasting next year.

I started to watch but had to close it as I would of got tranced out and eventually busted.

and I looked more into this spartanburg thing, it's insane how far a dollar goes there. For instance, how the hell is this only listing at 190k?
