OK I just got back from Verizon. Ordered the X.

The salesman sold me on Motorola & Screen size. Walking around with it in my pocket it's not so bad. Being as thin as it is really doesn't make it feel so large.

Ahhhh can't believe I finally caved in! Should get it in 2 weeks or so.

It was eventful. While waiting for a sales person I got into a sweet discussion with a couple other guys who were in the same boat as me. It was pretty funny. 3 complete stranger brought together by phones. Who would've thought. We spoke for like 45 minutes. LONG wait. I've been calling my local Apple store multiple times a day hoping to get an iPhone. I have the cash in hand waiting for it. I need to get one quick so I can jailbreak it before they release a patch to prevent it and I have to wait for the nerds to make a new jailbreak.

Maybe I would miss them when they were gone.

I just like the customization abilities. You can have a "new phone" at any time. I'll be putting 2.2 on my phone by the end of the week and it's not even out. Things like that keep me interested in the Droid scene. That, and I can go to any carrier, TODAY natively.

My 3GS froze, so I had to restore it and now am 4.0.2 which means no jailbreak on that yet.

I have the PDF program through cydia so I'm safe on PDFs.

X owners, looks like 2.2 update is postponed until Sept.
