Someone had told me the b16 blocks are shorter but originally on 309 I had a b16 header and it was tucked tightly on the oil pan but fit. I'd imagine if that's true you should be alright

B18 header will work on b16 but not the other way around.
B16 is shorter than b18

I've had sirius since the day Stern started and will cancel the day he leaves (maybe next month!!)

Yack, you know by how much? As in, is it going to be much shorter than B18 block? Few MM's I can see, maybe a CM or so. But if it's inches I'm sure the buyer would not be happy.

THX!!!

The B16 has a 263mm deck height where the B18 has a 270mm deck height. So the difference is 7mm.

How far are you from Charlotte, get down here for up to 12 hrs and drive home with a clean ride.
Or I can come to you, cost a little more.

Out of curiosity, are you the one who did Jordan's car a couple years ago? I remember talking to him and telling me that an ITR doode drove all the way from Charlotte to do his car. I've been in awe since.

G.SKILL 4gb (2x2gb) DDR3 1600, $75

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131638

ASUS P7H55-M/CSA mb, 4 memory slots, LGA1156, HDMI out, etc, $100

i3-540 Clarkdale, 3.06ghz dual core, etc, $120

How's that look?

Shit, sorry about the busted links. But that's the general idea of the thing.

How do hawk hp+ and blues compare to carbo-tech xp8's??

you don't want to use hawk blues, the dust is corrosive

hp+ have awesome initial bite and work well for beginners into early intermediate level

never used xp8s

I have been using xp8s and I like them for the most part... but they are pretty expensive and I have never used anything else so I figured it cant hurt to give something else a try.

XP8s in the front are $170. I've been using the XP10s which are $187. There is a 10% discount with various memberships... SCCA, NASA, etc.
Gotta say, I love the XP10s. Great bite and very impressive wear, rotors and pads.......and ZERO corrosive dust. Jeff has been using them as well and is impressed.

BTW, lub the balance with the Hawk HPS rears
