I don't think the women there are that great (Ashely agrees) on average. I've been way more impressed with more unlikely cities.
What don't you like about it? Traffic?

Scenery is awesome. Didn't get a chance to hit the beach but everything else was great. The people we met/ran across were actually incredibly nice everywhere. Totally unlike what you find in Miami.

I don't know man, maybe I look for different things in women but to me the LA and Orange County girls were generally pretty fake. Last time out I was staying right on Laguna Beach at Jackson's and I wasn't impressed at all, and on top of that the attitudes were horrible. Very pretentious 20-somethings. But I do like the area, waking up shitfaced to perfect 72 degree weather with the ocean view was awesome, oh and bombing his 97 up PCH and random backroads was fun.

It's hard to say the city who's had the best looking women. Austin and Nashville stand out, and of course Miami before I got my Cuban fix.

Our hotel was actually half filled with Dorm rooms. Just about every visit to the elevator included a half naked smokin' college babe.

Now get away from Campus area and I agree the women are fake. Along the lines of why I generalized them as skanks.

Funny story - Ran into a freshmen getting seriously hazed. Basically had a 45lb weight strapped around his neck that he had to leave on for an undisclosed amount of time. This poor kid was skateboarding to class with it on. I couldn't help but laugh my ass off.

The weather/scenery is awesome. Going down Figuerora St and looking at the mountain skyline was dope as hell. LA Live/Staples Center is a really fun place to be. Just unfortunate that it seemed to shutdown around midnight every night.

4 days of getting wasted every night on the company has really worn on me today. Getting acclimated to the time change as well is making going back to the office today very difficult.

I've always wanted a black 67 RS/SS because of that movie. One of my favorites as a kid! Reading his site today has made my day.

I was talking to my engineers yesterday and Cincinnati came up in conversation. I then said WKRP in Cincinnati? I felt really old when only two people had even heard of it out of about 10. Please tell me you guys know what I am referring to...

Mmm, Bailey Quarters...

I grew up watching that show. Netflix maybe? I wonder if it's held up over time.

Really? Just wait for the outage and call to their customer support. LOL

<--- who is going to verify he is not in a contract and getting ATT Uverse. Found out I can get internet only, don't have to pay for a phone.

12/3 service for $45/mo. I'll gladly do that to get rid of Charter!!!

The only problem with AT&T is they block inbound 25, 80, and 443.

Have you confirmed Uverse is available at your place? When I contacted AT&T over the summer they didn't have it east of highway 14 yet.

Yes, they do offer it in my area. There was someone walking around a few months ago going door to door to sell it. Of course they required you to purchase TV as well. The only way you can order Internet ONLY, is online.

And B-rad, those are the exact questions I have for the Tech suppport before I pull the trigger. I'll get names and ID's and supervisors names if they say it WILL work and they WILL NOT block ports.

Hello brothas!

What is the big deal with Uverse? I actually hate it, but I do not have the highest speed they offer. IMO, Uverse (tv/broadband combo) is over priced for what you get.

Nothing special, it's just not Charter whom I HATE WITH A PASSION!!!

That, and I refuse to give up my DirecTV. I just found out yesterday that you can get Uverse without TV bundled.
