About damn time!elambz wrote:Afternoon gents. It appears the guy who looked at my R this past weekend wants it but he wants to take another look and see it during the daylight. He's a little bit off on his current offer as well. If we can come together in the middle i think we'll have a deal.
If I get it sold, then I get to play the same game with the TL until that sells. By the time that sells I should be debt free and then its time to start car shopping again. S2000, E36 M3 and a PY ITR are tops on my list. I wish I didn't have to sell this ITR to get my CC debt paid off, but oh well. I'll start fresh again if I choose to. It'll also complete the color trifecta.itrsteez wrote:About damn time!elambz wrote:Afternoon gents. I'm also confused, not trying to pry into business that isn't mine but why not focus on selling the TL so you don't have to worry about buying another ITR?Jon D wrote:Chris, i'm a bit cornfused bro. Is the goal to sell your cars and get out of debt? Or is the goal to sell your cars to become debt free but go right back into debt with the purchase of a new car? Maybe i'm misunderstanding something.
Goal is to get rid of CC debt and get down to one payment. However, the only way to get out of debt immediately is to sell the R. The 'profit' off the R is whats clearing out the debt. The TL I have to sell for what I owe.Jon D wrote:Chris, i'm a bit cornfused bro. Is the goal to sell your cars and get out of debt? Erik95LS wrote:I approve dammit! I love E46s. I'd just approve of a good E36 much more. Both Hegg's would agree with that.itrsteez wrote: Well I'm glad at least one of the Hegg's approves of this purchase. I had a 2005 that I sold two years ago, so I was already sold.
Thats why I need to get rid of the stupid payments I'm making every month, and I can afford to enjoy the hobby. Its stupid for me to be shelling out money every month for credit cards. Buy it in cash, or don't buy it is my new motto.Little_Nolan wrote:Good luck with whatever route you take Chris... getting out of debt is never easy, especially while trying to balance the fun of an R and the expensive hobby they can be.
That brings a tear to my eye...you've come a long way!elambz wrote:Buy it in cash, or don't buy it is my new motto.

I'm currently accepting applications for room mates. Have your people get in touch with my people. Act now, spots will fill fast and you don't want to miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity.elambz wrote: I'm trying to be a grown up and buy a house like Ryan one day. You're in med school dude, there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. At which point a collection of two old cars will mean nothing. I'm just getting bullshit spending out of the way before a baby rockets into my future in which case I'll be minivan shopping with dave b.
I'll be going heavy debt when I start my masters (hopefully in the fall).
