Well you have the R so the hard part is over. I've been pricing out my stuff with marc all day today, it's friggen discouraging.

Well if you go with Buddy Club seats like Nate and get a used rollbar you can cut a lot of cost out. I've priced it before but its out of the question for me since I have to sell the R.

I'm a big fan of fixed-back FIA certified seats for safety reasons.

Yeah anything I get is going to be FIA homologated, at least for the drivers seat. Currently deciding between a pair of Recaro SPG's or a Sparco Circuit (has head bolsters) with a non-fia sparco fighter seat as a passenger, the extra safety is looking tempting but I'm not sure how much of a deterrent that will be when I want to DD that car.

Steezy, I loved my SPG.

I also loved the Pole Position too.

And BTW, shoveling your driveway SUCKS!!!!!!!!! I don't see how you northerners do it.

Steve, you are welcome to sit in either seat come February. I think both are very suitable for our build. The Profi SPG will hold you better on track but you will sweat in the summer. The Pole Position has more wiggle room which is probably a better suit for street driving.

When I first started building the car the SPG was perfect for me (32" waist)

Since then I've put on a little bit of weight and up to a 33.598098748097349053" waist (34's are still too big) and the Pole Position is more comfortable.

Joe, I would have killed for one of those things, except it was more icy and less powdery... LOL Needed the flat bladed shovel for the street too. Pics to come shortly.

I sat in the pole position at your house which I believe is the same width as the SPG XL, but I sat in jeff's XL and I remember having too much extra room. I just need to buy one, it's not as if they are hard to resell if need be.
