I guess we're working on a 4 hour delay today, not sure why as the roads were 100% bare this morning.

Was at work Monday at 7:30am (work closed e-mail came at 7:43am)
Was at work yesterday at 11:00am (work opened at 11 and I said F'it)
Was at work this morning at 7:30am (work is to open at 9:00).

There are some pussy as drivers in this city. :|
I have LTX's on the Pilot... I wonder what she could do with a set of OEM steely's and some real SNOW tires.

The drive into work yesterday took ~1.25 hours (vs. 25 mins)... passed a IS300 and 5 series all sideways/smashed rolling on bald summer rubberz.

I was watching the news at 7:30am and was surprised to hear that the I-85 exit closes to my house was still iced off. In TN the interstates would be clear by now from brine. They still had ice on 1/2 the lines. SC must have not have the same inventory for snow prep as TN.

FFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!I did have a red oak and several highlifes on Monday. Playing in the yard with the kids while wearing ski gloves on = warm hands with cold beer.
It was nice to buy beer at ~9:00am Monday (along with milk/bread/kids medicine/feminine products/snickers/chips/dip) when the city is in chaos.

Jack- Did you get GT5 yet?

Hey remember that time I requested you as a friend twelve months ago and you never responded? I do...

I'v been playing with Jim/PB/Erik a couple nights a week. I got my expert level up to 13 just by playing with them. I didn't start racing until last night. 10/10 golds in the ITR. Hype R's never lose if you didn't know...

I've honestly never played anything online with the PS3 so I don't even know where to look for that stuff. I'm up to Level 21 in that game with a ridiculous garage of crap.

One major difference between offline and online is that I've found tire temps aren't modeled in practice mode, which is where I was doing the majority of my tuning. Its far easier to get tires up to temp in practice mode than it is in an online lobby and you will have way less grip.

I tuned up a race-modded Suzuki Cappuccino for an online event and when the race started I was sliding all over the place. The number of things they half-assed in this game is staggering. The physics are pretty good and if I could combine the GT5 physics with Forza3 everything else I'd be in heaven.

I haven't modded a single car. I'm just now decent enough to where I can predict the ITR through the corners. Back end sliding, not sliding, all four sliding, throttle lift oversteer, etc. I'v only completed the first three series in A under Beginner though.

Anyone have AMEX and believe it to be worth annual fees? I am in need of picking up a card just in my name to help build by credit back up a bit as my score has dropped a little. Damn signing joint on everything the past couple years has had some negative affects.

If you use the AMEX for a company card and do expense reports (and rack up the points) then yes. Otherwise, just as a personal card I'd say no.

I like their benefits:
-Double MFG warranty
-Replacement if stolen
-Points? I'v yet to use them in 2-3 years I'v had the card.

*Edit* I have the blue card, which I don't believe has a annual fee.

I got some really nice GT5 time in during the "snow" days. I have yet to figure out how to play online though.
