It's getting to the point that we'll be dropping the gearbox soon - there's nothing left to replace at this point.

Such a horrible feeling. The only thing that makes me feel better is finding the problem and seeing how well I destroyed it!

Me and Clayton (who works for King) have been trying to figure out the mystery for a few months now. I'll be damned if I'm gonna pay them $400 plus parts to R&R the gearbox when me & Clayton can do it for the cost of parts and a case of beer.

I've got a new clutch fluid reservoir cap and new hose that leads from the reservoir to the master cylinder.
If replacing those and vacuum bleeding doesn't resolve the issue, then it's time to drop the box.

I just wanna drive the damn thing!
I think I'mna go over to the garage tonight and putz with it. If I bleed it, it's usually good for a few hours....

The BSI here now is hot and muggy...
So since you and Mike seem to be beer drinkers, I am in need of a new beer. I'm an Ale and Lager drinker myself, that light stuff is for the birds. I need a suggestion or 2 from you guys.
Mike, don't forget the Leini's for Exblowwwww!!!!

Exactly. We're almost to the point that it must be the clutch/pp, but it really just seems like air is getting into the line somehow, or there is just a stubborn bubble that we haven't gotten out.
We've been bleeding it by both manually pumping the pedal, and also using this:
Is there another method of bleeding that will yield better results?

I have expensive taste bc i get it all at cost, but Blue Moon is excellent, Hoegarden is even better (also more expensive), and really everything else i prefer to drink is microbrewery stuff from Harrisburg PA. Yuengling is always a gooT choice if you have access to it.

Mike, when I bleed my brakes/clutch I use a vacuum from honda. It hooks up to a compressor and I dont do anything. Just add fluid when needed.

Yuengling is one of my fav's. I've been on that kick for about a year now. My absolute fav, which I would love to find again, and I got it from Scott up in Wisconsin. It's called and I'll probably spell it wrong, but it's Augustiner. It's from Munich Germany and he actually brought it back with him from his many trips over there.
I'd like a decent microbrew myself, and right now I don't care about price. I just need a good beer. Mike, your up in Wisconsin. Any other suggestions?
Oh, and this BlueMoon stuff. I've seen it, but yet to try it. Is it more dark or what?

I *think* that's the method we'll be using next. I'm sure they have something like that out at King.
I'm guessing it's something like this?:
