I too am having some sort of issue with it. The "earthen" part of the "castle" is only showing white. Weird, I'll take a screen shot.
I can get it to work on the Incredible, sometimes. Rapidly tapping on the splash screen works about half the time. I'm hoping for an update soon - fun game.

I'm up to two stars on all of the first ten boards, three stars on another level.

From Verizon?

Is there a custom ROM with Froyo yet? I'm sure it has to be leaked by now for your phones and any that should get it as a carrier upgrade.

Obviously, on mine I had to go custom as they aren't intending on releasing it for my hardware.

Chris has had it a week +. I just haven't bothered to ask him when he has been in the office.

I don't want a custom one, I'm waiting on Verizon.

Yeah, if you can get the official one, go for it. But keep in mind, your going to lose root by doing the Verizon official, then have to wait for someone to root 2.2 official.

Usually when a new update comes out, they also patch the recent root exploit.

I was assuming I couldn't even install the 2.2 since I was rooted. Hm. I'm not anxious by any means, but I hear good things.

Oh yeah, you can always install the stock, Carrier ROM's. They are just going to overwrite what you have now and lose root.

Thus is the reason my phone is still natively running 1.5 but I'm running a custom 2.2 ROM on it now.

My phone runs a TON better on Froyo

So somewhere in my over optimistic brain I was hoping I could run iracing on my Dell D430 laptop. No luck. I have still yet to actually be able to launch a practice session...

I wouldn't think it would take too much to run that game.

I'm just running it on some overpriced mac.

I wish it ran natively in Mac. I think it's pretty ridiculous they don't have a Mac version, they just tell you to run Bootcamp.

They'd have to port the game over for OSX, then have to troubleshoot and deal with everybody's issues there. Firing up a bootcamp partition isn't bad, if you really wanted to the latest version of parallels allows you to open up a bootcamp partition right from your osx session.

I already have a boot camp partition, I just need to load Windows 7 on it. Just Team Lazy. My point there though was that the typical Mac user probably won't run this game. That is time / money that they would probably just say "eh" and move on.

With Froyo now, phone has been off the charger for almost 12 hours and I still have 58% battery left. Most I've ever had.

Granted, it's been a sorta light usage day... but it's still never been this good of battery!

It's their loss!

I got two days, one hour with Froyo - I pulled it off a good charge midday Monday, put it on with about 15% this afternoon. I'm happy with it.

I played on Brad's computer tonight...first test run I nuked the transmission. Second test run I missed a turned point and put it into the outskirts of the course (the car sank and then reverted back to the grid), and the third session I had a slow spin and hit a wall....I need practice.

I love that the only place I can get it to run is on my desktop PC at the office PC.

Yeah the part that sucks about sim's is that you lose that seat of your pants sense of speed so you're going to overshoot so much.

I think a wheel setup would help. Since I never (ever) play video games, my general use of a PS3 controller is very poor.
