You start out with 20k. Buy the cheapest car (I bought an 83' CRX for 13k) and get everything setup. Go online with us and start making money each race. The more people in the race, the more money you win. I'v won as much as 15k per race. Both my ITR's were ~23k in the used market.

That's crazy they payout for online races. Right now I have a stupid easy race that gives me 84k each shot and it's an easy win, I'm almost half tempted to just whore up and get an F1 car.

What race is that? I need to do that race a couple of times. Ferrari 458 here I come!

It's a daytona race in the Fly Like The Wind series, I slaughter everybody in my zr1. My scuderia , lambo and veyron have been rendered useless since I purchased that.

The ZR-1 is the hotness apparently. It is on my list to pickup sometime in the future.

John- It's a solid hour plus to install and update the game.

I got the ZR1 yesterday. It is quite good and I haven't even race mod'd it yet.

Race mod is full of win. I wish they let you do that to more cars.

Tried to wiz thru the licenses last night, stopped @ B10. Have a 97 CTR, I couldn't find a cheaper used Honda forsale. It is kinda dumb to have to have a car before you can take the license test. Anyway, I 'll add you all to my friends list and hope we can hook up for some mini pre-Expos.

CTR is what I started out with as well, you're going to go through so many cars with all of the different races and their requirements.

I figured as much looking thru the races and since it has been like that since GT1.

Bad thing now is, I have to "share" the TV with the wife for her Wii Zumba workout. Maybe I can sofa-king it up in the bedroom on the small TV.

As for weekly - bi weekly, I say we hold it other than Thursday so if anyone wanted to join in the other races they could.

Mon and Wed I can't get started until after 9:30. That brings up another point, what time do we all want to start this stuff? 10 PM? Practice laps at 9:30?

After 9pm, there is generally people on. I know I'v been racing with Jim/PB/Erik most week nights with no schedule.
