They make an extended battery for the Droid X now. It's about 1mm thicker and adds about 30% to the battery life. I might pick one up tomorrow...

I would consider getting that battery as well. I'm curious what the out the door price is with the company discount.

I think I found a digital frame that will do this! It's the HP Dreamscreen 100 and 130. The 100 is a 10" and the 130 is a 13". Best price I have found is $129 for the 10" at TigerDirect.

Angry Birds beta 2 is out for Android.

It actually loads on the first try on my Incredible. Good stuff.

Jailbroken iPhones have had security issues discovered as well.

You AD credentials stored in clear text? That's just retarded!!! The 90's called and want their code back.

LMFAO!!!

Keep in mind, those that are "rooting" their android phones are doing so with code written by anyone (As in, anyone can write a custom ROM) so it's not being monitored or maintained IMO.

The root is not what is storing the credentials according to the article, it is what is allowing 3rd party apps access to the credentials.

Don't you think the ROM builder though could plug the exploit?

Harddrive crashed yesterday around noon with my dedicated server from inmotion hosting.
Literally took them 8 hours to get a new server setup for me get into, thought that was kinda ridiculous... Anybody else have any experience with them?
Thank god for having a good disaster recovery plan.

A hosting site doesn't have VM's? Should NOT take 8 hours period to get ya back up and running.

Ideally it wouldn't take any time at all, but we all know things rarely ever go the way you plan them to

I haven't had any experience with inmotion, most of my uncomplicated web stuff is hosted at 1and1, and I host the rest of it on my home network.

Any webhost that is selling a "dedicated" plan will generally tell you if it's a virtual plan or not.

If it's a dedicated box in the true sense of the form you're normally assed out, 8 hours isn't a absolutely horrible response rate for a server with no redundancy.
