The same Tamron lens? How much?

Yeah, just now. Hell, I didn't even know the artist's name, only that he's "crazy"
I bought a sigma lens, it had better reviews then the tamron and was cheaper by 6 bucks. It cost me 135 including expedited ship[ping, should be here by saturday.

this dude has been out for awhile.

GL, dunno if you can find one of those that cheap. Probably closer to the 500-700 range just for the lens. Those are expensive.

300's not bad, but don't shoot all the way at 300, use like 290ish so you can focus.

LOL. Well, use it for now. I'm trying not to use anything auto. "trying" being the key word. I'll say for example take a pic in auto. Then try to duplicate in manual. Also, remember you said you couldn't take certain pics.... Try that same pic in manual.

I'll give ya that, but usually auto focus works perfectly fine.

It works for some pics, but for others it will not. Take the night shots I'm taking for example. With low light, there's not a whole lot to focus on.

You will. It's just a matter of time.

Those night tree outline shots I took in fully manual. I couldn't get the autofocus to focus on the outline. I had no choice but manual. Then there's pics where there is so much going on the camera can't pick on thing to focus on.
