<---- SO glad he has a "turtle" and doesn't have to deal with crying in public over chicken wings.
how is Pat doing with all that? I sure hope he's HELLA supportive, or I'll round up the troops and make the charge to Canukland.

Aw, he really is amazing.
This baby was planned right from the beginning, so he is really involved in everything which is nice. I'm so lucky. You guys will really like Pat. He's just like me only a little more calm and much better with maths. lol
For the record, Pat even uses Homer Simpson's line and says it's our uter-US, not a uter-YOU (and points at me). He's also quite possibly funnier than I, too.
So Mr.Davis, are you and Angela gonna make any babies soon, or do the two have you busy enough already?
Or are you worried that she'll cry over chicken wings.

I know, I know... just giving you (and hopefully him looking over your shoulder) a hard time, and making sure you remember we all here got your back.
So... i hear you 2 are coming to Expo 10.
As for me... and babies. Yes, we do definitely have plans for one (or 2 as twins are due in her family too) or maybe, if the first one is a girl, I'll shoot for another one and get a boy, but if I get a boy on the first shot, I'll call it quits. (just really want a son, not that I wouldn't love a daughter... but ya know) The 2 we have DEFINITELY keep us busy, but I do too still want one. Actually, when we first met/started dating she mentioned wanting another child at some point. Otherwise, I don't think I'd be with her.
Cry over chicken wings? She's a woman... they cry over odd things all the time...

Oy! Could you imagine if we had two sets of ITRCA mascot twins! lol
I think everyone in our families would like us to have girls, me included. Only because they are so much easier than boys in the toddler years! And Pat really wants to torture some boys when they are teenagers. I guess it's a guy thing.
Plus, we already have a son in the family.
A boy (or boys) would be great too! I can see why guys would like one. But for me, I can see me passing on all my knowledge to a girl or two in the same way a guy would do that with their son. Pat's more into the finance side of cars than the mechanical side. Although he can hold his own in a conversation, I wouldn't call him a super enthusiast or anything. So his idea of boy bonding is sports, which I think is pretty adorable.
p.s. As a side note, babies eat your brains. Since we got preggers I can't hold a thought for more than 3 minutes! lol Plus I forget things and get distracted. Just as a warning.

Let me re-phrase that... I would PREFER not to have twins. 4 kids? Really... no thanks, that's a bit much, even for me. LOL
Here is a saying that none other than Walker told me...
"with a boy, you only have one dick to worry about. with a girl, you have every dick out there to be worried about"
I own 2 guns, and the first thing I'll be saying to a boy when he comes over and my daughter is of age is "I'm not afraid to go back to prison" LOL
LOL, sports. While I can understand and appreciate the sports father and son thing... it's just not for me, at least watching on TV. Now taking him to a game or 2, or some racing... that would be AWESOME!!!
ROFL @ the babies eating your brain. I'll have to tell Angela that...

Ahahaha, leave it to Jimzilla to say that! Oddly enough, my Mom says that my Dad used to say that. And he had two girls. lol Of course I wasn't really anything to worry about. I was always a shin kicker.
4 babes is a lot. Pat and I want 3 for sure, including the little fella. But that means if we have twins then we are done! But we talked about it today and figured if we can afford it, we would have more mini-trons if we had twins this pregnancy.
As far as the baby-brain goes, I'm sure Angela knows all about it!!! My best friend swears that it is contagious, but I think she's just a big fat liar.
So now Patty is taking me out for late night sammiches! I want a Reuben sammich so bad I could cry... I kid, I kid, I kid!!! No crying tonight. I hope.
If I don't talk to you again tonight, I will talk to you tomorrow! I still have to send you an email too.... I'll get right on that.
Later, gator!

Teh AWESOME! I'm so happy for you Dawn. Kids are an absolute trip!
I have a gorgeous grand niece who is like you only blond. Sage is the one eating cake, right!
I love her to death and she thinks I'm her native bearer and personal slave. She likes pink gurly princess things and running around in the country and cotching bugs and other critters with such awesomeness it staggers the mind.
And when she plays with her Barbies, she gives me one to play with too... if I don't, she shin-kicks me.
P.S. I lubs fresh fruit and make the best grilled cheese sammiches on the planet... because, well, I like eating grilled cheese sammiches.
P.S.S. I think you will make a great mommy and now can I rub j00 belly for good karma!

Aw, thanks so much, guys!
Gary, your niece sounds like she's got an attitude just as cute as her looks! What a little doll!! And you're right.... I was very similar to that when I was little. Except the pink and barbies. I was more of a dinosaur kinda gal. lol But I will admit that I played with Sheila's (my little sister) barbies on occasion.
Sooo... my Momma arrives tomorrow at 9:30am! w00t! I can't wait to see her. Pat and I are driving to the airport to get her. Since I found out all of our 'baby dancing' actually worked, I have pretty much stopped driving. It's obviously absolutely strange for me, but I just can't bear the thought of getting dizzy or needing to throw up while I'm driving and getting into an accident. So Pat drives us everywhere now! Especially since the airport is 30 min outside of the city. I'm such a girl. But I guess I better hurry up and get used to that fact considering I'm going to be pushing a person outta my va-jay-jay in a few months.
Anyway, even though I will most likely be distracted with Ma, I will still try to get over here to say hi, k? And probably share some funny preggo stories. God knows there's enough of them! Ooooh! Like last time I went out for lunch with Pat's Mom and ended up hugging the waitress over my lunch. lol
Have a wicked awesome night guys! Will talk to you later!

Well, spoke to Angela on the babies eating the brain thing. She said that didn't happen to her, but she had heard of it.
Lawls @ the "dancing" and baby coming out of there... you'll never be the same.
but it's all good...

Oh hai!
Mommatron flew back to Halifax the other day, so I am officially pretty much free during the days now! Well except for having to pee every 30 seconds, crying every 45 seconds, and cramming cheesewhiz sandwiches into my face evey 2.5 minutes. At least I have lots of extra time in my day now, since being pregnant apparenty makes you stop pooping.
*sigh*
Anywaaaaaaaay....In other news, it's nice to be back here!
We are going through this crazy stupid heat wave right now. Words cannot express the sad.
And I FINALLY brought a belly pic, and a belly/Betty pic. w00t!
I look so lopsided to me! Lopsided in a cute way. lol. My butt and legs and arms are still so scrawny, but my belly sticks out! And when I was wearing a pair of my skinny jeans (with the button/zipper undone) and a long shirt last week, Patty said that I look like I'm riding a chicken.
So I dun wear those pants no more.

dang!! lookin good momma! crazy how that stuff works and changes you. I had a math teacher (guy) in HS that was built like that. His legs were probably as skinny as yours, but he had a belly 3 times the size of yours. haha. He was hilarious, but stunk of coffee and cigarettes.
Eat lots and make healthy baby!

Hai boyzies!
Many moons ago, I used to smoke AND drink an unholy amount of coffee everyday. But that was before I wanted to baby-dance with a purpose. Plus I worked in the auto industry.... I had no choice. It's like as soon as you get your dealer license they hand you a thermos and a pack of smokes and send you running after the nearest tow truck.
It's so incredible how much everything changes when you know that there is a little person growing inside of you. Like it's no longer just me, but I am so utterly in charge of exactly how well another human fares at living and thriving. It's intense. And utterly terrifying at times.
Hahaha @ Gary! And yessir, the b00ds have friggin asploded!! I had to get a new bra because I had gone up a full cup size AND 3 band sizes!!! And now it's time to get fitted for yet another bigger size.....
Patty is the happiest boy ever. Me on the other hand, I hate the damn things. They get in the way, they hurt, they don't fit into any of my clothes, they HURT..... in a nut shell, they are not what they are cracked up to be.
So how have you guys been??

Oh man...... long story short: We got to see babytron tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The most beautiful little blur on a screen you can imagine! She was laying there on her back for the most part, and then I swear she did the happy-squirmy-puppy-dance!!! (I say she even though we don't know the sex yet, btw.) She is still so tiny, but looks just like a little person, 'cept she's still got a pretty big head. lol But that's normal for her age. She is the most beautiful little thing I have ever seen in my life. Absolutely. And to see her little heart beating away..... it was just breathtaking. It really makes it seem that much more real! It's one thing to have a test say you're pregnant, but it is just so indescribable when you get to see a video of the little bean dancing to 'jump around' in there!
And for the back story: It all started when I was having these horrible pains in the 'baby zone' this afternoon. I was more frantic than I have ever been in my life. I waited for Pat to get home from work, and we went to the hospital to see how babytron was doing and if she was in danger. After an examination and the ultrasound the doctor is convinced that she is fine and that I need to eat more fibre.
He also pointed out my size and that he was not guaranteeing that there was only one baby in there. So we still have to wait until our ultrasound on September 15 before we find out any of those details. But our next OB (the doc in charge of the babes and my va-jay-jay) appointment is on Tuesday and she'll really make sure that everything's okay. But if one baby survived whatever the pain was with no distress, multiples would probably be okay, too.
At least my mind is at ease for tonight.
*sigh*
