Just read that Apple has sold 3 million iPads in the first 80 days of sales. Wow! My company has about 50 employees and I know of about 20 people that have one already here.
Truth.Dave_B wrote:IMO, still do not want.
it's got a pretty flower for a background.itrsteez wrote:faggot you don't even have root access why would you even get that!?!?!?!?!

isn't available yet. may or may not anyway once it is. I didn't with my previous one.Dave_B wrote:lulz.
When ya gonna jailbreak it?
...and you can video chat with other fanbois.Dave_B wrote:I wonder how long it will take before someone has jailbroken it.
What benifits are there now with the IP4? You have multitask now built in, right?
that's one of the main ones along with being able to arrange apps into folders and the compass is pretty cool. It all works quite well. The screen is phenomenal. The main seller for me was the claimed battery life though. We'll see if its as good as thy claim.Dave_B wrote:I wonder how long it will take before someone has jailbroken it.

yes it does have multi tasking. Thats what I was saying was one of the main benefits of the new software. Sorry.Dave_B wrote:So wait, it doesn't have multitask on the Iphone 4 built in by default? I thought I had read it did?
When you say battery life, how long would you expect out of it? With moderate use on mine, I charge at night (15+ hour day of useage) and I'm at about 27-35%.
I am however running the phone currently over clocked when the screen is on by almost 200 Hz to 710 (stock 528 proc) and underclocked when the screen is off way down to 246 Hz
*not in a sarcastic voice* So they are going to last a day, essentially? Was the battery that bad before? Forgive my ignorance, I've never owned an Iphone, just an Ipod Touch which is always on the charger/dock.Erik95LS wrote:yes it does have multi tasking. supposedly:
Talk time:
Up to 7 hours on 3G
Up to 14 hours on 2G
Standby time: Up to 300 hours
Internet use:
Up to 6 hours on 3G
Up to 10 hours on Wi-Fi
Video playback: Up to 10 hours
Audio playback: Up to 40 hours
the current phones (up to this point) would barely last a day with mild-moderate use before they would be dead.
I don't talk on my phone a whole lot, but in a normal day with a couple 10-30 minute calls, a good bit of texting, and some internet use I'd often have a completely dead phone by 10pm or so. Mine was a 3G. That 3Gs was supposedly a bit better as far as battery life, but this should be quite a bit better. One plus about these phones though is that it only takes about 10-20 minutes max for a full charge.Dave_B wrote:

LOL... I found this interesting... it was predicted.
