The reason why the posts are locked after a sale is completed is to keep the posts preserved for future references incase someone needs them for an insurance claim or just to see how to price theirs/yours in the event of selling / buying one.
But if you really want your post edited or deleted please contact a moderator here.

This makes prefect sense to me. I generally try and leave the sale price in my threads so that others may reference them in the future.
