Has anyone tried the VOrtech Supercharger?

im looking for more power but want it to be quite reliable...ive found the Vortech supercharger and according to the site it makes alot more power then the JRSC..has anyone tried it?? and what would have to be done in order to run a supercharger safely? sorry im a newb
