wanting to know if anyone has used either set, or both and has a comparison. looking to upgrade all the bushings, but want to feel the difference. Ofcourse the Mugen are more $$$, but is it worth the $$$ over Energy? Thanks in advance for your help

These sets are comparing Apples to Oranges in terms of materials. The goal is the same, but the engineering is different in terms of the product used to make the bushings.
The Mugen and PIC kits are made from Rubber just like OEM bushings. The Energy Suspension kit is made for urethane. I have personally run the ES kit and was not pleased. The kit rode fine for about two weeks, but then it began to squeak. The two years following the squeaking only got worse.
The Mugen and PIC kits are both top notch quality and use rubber bushings, but with stiffer grade rubber in the individual pieces. The Mugen and PIC also literally replace every bushing in the car as opposed to the ES that does not. When comparing the Mugen kit to PIC, the Mugen kit does not come in a complete kit, and is much more expensive. The PIC comes in a full kit, and has a price 1/5 of the Mugen. If you act now, Dave_B is doing an expo special. I was speaking to Dave earlier tonight and placing an order for the PIC kit.

can't forget Hard Race either. They are also very hard rubber like the PIC and possibly Mugen.

I have ES on front and back LCA's, engine mounts, steering bushings and shift linkage.
It definitely stiffened up my ride, It is rough on really bumping roads, but for track it works great!
I have no problem with squeaks, but I have black bushings, the red ones will squeak. Black has graphite impregenated in the urethane..
I do also have Mugen bushings for rear trailing arm bushing and rear sway bar, I have had no problems either, once I got the biotch on the trailing arm...
I know that may not help as much, but I do have both types on my LS. My advice, is get a press..
