Whats going on guys...
New to the site....Never really did the "Forum" thing before...
Looking to reach out and find some other ITR owners out there, learn about local meets, shops, find parts, etc...
Got a FBP '00....mostly stock.
Hoping to source out some of the standard JDM goods over the next year.
First question is a shop in the DMV area worthy of doing the front end swap. The right way!!!!
Look forward to ur feedback.

Welcome. Please reconsider hacking up your front end. JDM fronts on clean titled USDM Rs are a touch subject within the community.
Save the money and hit the track, i promise you it will bring more happiness then a JDM front will.
If you haven't already considered going to EXPO, please do. As a Type R owner you will not attend a more meaningful event dedicated to Type R enthusiasts all over the country.
You will learn more about the community in two days then you could 2 years on this forum. You can find more details about EXPO at the top of the forum list.
Again, welcome aboard. Keep your eyes peeled for updates on the PA Type R meet. It is always a great turnout with good people and a fantastic drive.

Welcome to ITRCA...I hope you reconsider the JDM front perversion. It's been so overplayed and quite fugly to be honest. Why buy a clean stock USDM R if only to fuck it up?? Sense it makes none. For the price you paid for the caR, and will pay for the JDM front, install and paint...you could just buy a real JDM ITR and not bother with the fakery..

Thanks guys. I'll deff keep that in mind. I had my R for a little while but Im just now, finally starting to get to work on her. I haven't really decided for sure which route I want to go but I have been a little "on the fence" about the swap. I'm a purest when it comes to my hondas so I can deff appreciate not cutting up a numbered original. Thanks for the feedback. This is what I was looking for.
