So last saturday I was going home from work and i passed this intersection and out of nowhere this guy ran a stop sign and i nailed the side of his car. The air bag nailed me in the face and I smashed my knee against the dash. Ill post up pics of the caR. I will be parting it out so let me know if you need anything. Im gonna start a for sale thread so check for parts there. R.I.P. ITR 00-0673.

Probably. This is my favorite caR honda has ever made and I cant go to anything lower than an R unless I get an NSX but that will never happen.

Such a sad sight, I'm very sorry. Goodluck with the insurance process. Don't hesitate to ask for help dealing with their lowball offers.

I wish i could fix heR up but theres to much damage. Statefarm stopped the estimate at $9600 and just totaled it. they valued the car for $12600 and i bout it back for 1100. So i guess i made out atleast I can get the engine and everything out of it.

Just looking at it, I say it's fixable. My track car was in far worse shape than that, only cost around 2k to fix it.
If your handy at all, I say go the fixing route.

Was the car hit "low" Reason I ask (and I'll have to dig up some pics) mine was hit higher, so it bent the rad support and rad/fans went all the way to the header heat shield.
I replaced the rad support/bumper/hood/headlights got a new rad and one fan IIRC.

Another option is to sell the caR whole to someone who'll do the rebuild like Dave did on his....which did look much worse.
Selling whole = easy + about the same $$.

yeah it was hit low. I basically bounced off of his tire as you can see the tire mark on my front bumper

Any pics of the frame rails? From top and bottom if possible.
I too would sell the car complete. Much easier to do this way.
