just so you know that is not a 1st gen n1 muffler. the 1st gens had an unpolished canister and the non bottleneck piping looked like this. your muffler is a 2nd or 3rd gen.

your non bottle neck design is the newer version, along with the canister being polished... hence >>>> not a 1st gen N1

1st gens had the non bottle neck design/pattern as i posted above, along with the unpolished canister. trust me its not a 1st gen n1. dont believe me?? go to any of the other popular forums and ask.you will find the same answer. good luck on the sale.

I was told on h-t that it was maybe a Gen.1 that someone polished. I know this exhaust was purchased from jdmland back in 03. I guess I was misinformed because i was told the Gen.3 has a badge and is bottlenecked, the Gen.2 has a bottleneck as well and that the Gen.1 was the only one without the bottleneck before the flange. Someone in the Spoon thread suggested that there was a small batch of Gen.1 that came polished or that mine was hand polished by the org owner. Not questioning you or saying yor lieing or trying to mislead anyone this is just what I was told by many people over on HT. None the less the price doesn't change the exhaust is seven years old with maybe 5,000 miles on it. Thank you though

actually 1st gens also had bottle necks too, but thats a whole nother story. lol

yea if you know the muffler was bought from matt at icb/jdmland. he will also agree with what ive said if you want to email him with the photo. its definitely not a 1st gen muffler, just going with the newer non-bottle neck design alone. matt also knows exactly what version yours will be if you email him. i would say 2nd gen. but yea still a great muffler none the less. sorry to thread jack, i just didnt want a buyer to later come back and acuse you of something later on.
