Fun week, ITR issues...

Hello everyone! I ran into a couple small issues last week after taking the car out of storage at my parents house in the burbs. Bummed me out, because I was planning on taking the car out for a local late spring opener cruise this past weekend, but things have not been working right lately.
My antenna stopped working. It got locked up and stuck, fully extended. haha! I could not get that thing to go back down without bending or breaking it. So this just sucked, lol. I had to remove this darn thing, it was bothering the hell out of me. So I removed the whole driver's side panel and got to the antenna. Ended up having to bend the damn antenna anyway to get it out at the best angle! lol Looks like the motor is jacked/locked up.
I know a place that is local that can fix it. But is it even worth fixing? It looks pretty ancient...I was looking for replacements. For now, I got a rubber-type plug. It sits flush and keeps the hole covered and water out. What type of antenna would you guys recommend? I kind of dig this rubber-type plug. lol. I never listen to the radio anyway...but with the stock stereo...yeah...I need a new unit asap!
I used my key to open it once last week. It never was able to close again...I've searched and have found topics and discussions about this already. Found some answers, I know I need a new actuator. But the reason for this thread is...the other part connected to the actuator is also broken. I can't even close the hatch anymore.
I got pretty frustrated, so I just yanked both the actuator and this part out. This part has the plastic torn around the metal locking mechanism i believe, so I cut it off as much as I can and put as much grease as I could squeeze in there. It STILL doesn't open or close enough and the striker part keeps banging without success.
I took it all out again. I am going to be ordering replacement parts very soon, but thought I'd ask you guys this question since I don't have a repair manual handy. I'm going away for the weekend tomorrow and writing this at work so I won't be able to tackle this stuff until next week sometime.
What is this part called? I'm thinking it's called the lock assembly? Can anyone please confirm? Thanks in advance...(please do not be the lock assembly)...it was listed at about 170 dollars discounted at an online store I visited. The site didn't have any pictures or anything I could check, so I'm not positive.
Sorry for the long write up, but there's just a list of maintenance things to do with the R as well, all in good time I guess. I just want my banana car in tip-top mechanical shape!
