:P

After talking with several peeps who are leaving Friday morning instead of Thursday...we figure we can make a nice caravan and pick up peeps along the way to Joliet.

Myself and Mike out of Buffalo/So Ontario.
Jon, Jeff and murdered out black R coming from So Central PA.
Canuckr and maybe more out of MI.
More..

I'm thinking we could converge in the Cleveland area around 11am and Toledo a bit after noon. Joliet is about 4.25 hrs from Toledo according to Google Maps. Plan is to get into Joliet around 5pm with beers still cold. :P

Thoughts?

Great! I'll try to nail down when we'll be passing through Erie, PA or you can meet up with the guys at I-80 and I-76.

OK, if you're coming south of the lake then I will plan to meet up with you just west of Cleveland, where I-90 and I-80 merge together. There is a service plaza just west of that merge.

Let me know when you expect to be there, and I will plan accordingly. We should probably swap cell numbers so we can touch base.

I'm thinking we can get to the I80/90 merge by 9-9:30am. It's about 3 hrs 45 mins from Buffalo. Early next week we should know who's in and getting better timeframes. I'll PM cell #.

Teal and I may be able to catch up with you guys on 80 near Elkhart/South Bend IN.

Anyone know where to find a list of the location of rest areas on 80? I can't find anything at all

From looking at Google maps, it looks like there is a rest stop or service plaza just west (~1.5mile) of Rt 19 just north of Elkhart. This would be a logical place:

Well, not completely stock, she's got a Recaro "Style" drivers seat, and a LoJack ;-)

She's gonna roll over 46,000 this weekend too!

OMG....46,000....just a baby. I can't wait to see it in Joliet. My GiSseR looks like it'll roll over both 125,000 and 126,000 this weekend.

I'll be passing by probably a good bit of that route, but possibly a few hours earlier than you guys. Got some old friends in Joliet that want to see me. **eyeroll**

It's all good, my old GSR was over 200k at Expo 9. It will be at this year's event via Nathaniel, so it's still rolling.
