Thanks man, I think it is a fair deal and since everyone thinks they can build the best motor, this one is ready to be reassembled just like the builder wants. Very good motor with only 39K so someone buy it

Well Dave I did end up getting one recently, it was Jason Franzas 2000 ITR Honda Challenge H1 he ran in the 2005 season.

Yes, the motor is as seen in the pictures - all in pieces and need rebuilt by whoever buys it!

Here is the 2000 I got, clean title with 16,148 miles on it!

Wow, sure do miss my old R. She looks so good in the pictures. The car was a blast to drive and I hope that you enjoy it. I know that I did. Just one small clarification though, it was raced in 2006, not 2005

Well I am sinking a PILE of money into this car, SOMEONE really tore it down. There wasn't anything left to it other than a dash in it and 4 lug suspension.... The whole harness was taken out of it, no rear bumper, just the ABS under the hood but everything else is gone..... You can rest asured Jason that this car is in VERY GOOD HANDS! Do you have any pictures you can e-mail me at obrocto@hotmail.com showing me anything about the car? I have e-mailed John Whitaker several times (on facebook, hondatech and his e-mail) and he will not reply to me, then I was talking to Kevin Helms and it is like he fell off the face of the earth. I can not get any help with this car. I wanted Kevin to put together a motor for this but he will not get back to me....

Kevin has been racing in the World Challenge series which may be why he has been difficult to get ahold of. Send a PM to user "Hooch'n" on this site. He should be able to assist you with getting in touch with Kevin for the motor rebuild.

As another engine rebuild option, you can PM Jack Harris here on this board. His username is B18CXr.
