Just installed my power steering removal kit. Why did it take me this long to do this mod!

The steering feels so much better than having the pump and lines hooked up. I went for a few laps in the car on Wednesday in the rain! Steering input has improved substantially, it's a true response right from the front wheels to the steering wheel. There's no hesitation.

Low speed corners it's a bit stiff but it's perfectly normal. Once your up to speed it feels perfect.

I still need to take out the cooler lines, looks like a pita. Do you need to take the radiator out in order to get those lines out?

Feels nice getting those cast iron mounts out of the motor though, those things were heavy!

iirc you can get them out without removing the radiator, but if nothing else just unbolt the upper radiator stays and lean it back
