Little bit of progress.

Well, in my 4 months of owneRship I have had to replace the clutch and the oil pan gasket. She still needs a valve cover gasket and a second gear synchro. I put the original wheels back on her and had to take the stickers off the quarter panels. First of all she had no stickers when the previous owner got the caR so he decided to put them on....crooked.
Today I walk out to her to give heR a bath and notice part of the driver side sticker is missing, so she has no stickers for the time being.

I just figured it was time for a couple of updated shots. They aren't great shots, but all I had to use was my phone.

Yeah flicker is a bit dumb IMO. It's the main reason I don't use it.

I've been hearing good things about it, but I guess I will stick with photobucket.

If you had my work schedule you'd understand. I really wanted to wait until winter to do everything but the oil pan gasket was real bad and the clutch came apart on me so I did those at the same time. I still have a lot of maintenance to catch up on with her. Im pretty sure she's lived a hard life and wasn't very well taken care of by previous owners.
I've got my work cut out for me but I love her!

^sounds like she's in good hands..keep the progress coming. I was just busting your chops but you really should at least replace your vc gasket, it's cheap and quick.

Im definitely going to...I have to order it online though. Id rather pound my head against a brick wall for hours on end than deal with the local idiotic rednecks at the parts store.
I actually had a guy ask me if my car was" vortec". I should have known better than to have gone there but I learned my lesson!

The car looks good. I've seen photos that have enhanced the shine of the paint, by having water on the driveway. The water reflects light and brings out the paint, but I don't know if that will work for you.
