I'm currently looking at ways to reduce costs in shipping. USPS now has flat rate envelopes perfect for shipping calendars. I am also considering printing the calendars local (to me) to reduce shipping them twice (from pinter to me, from me to you). For now expect to same somewhere in the range of $20ish. I promise to keep this as cheap as possible. This isn't a profit a venture. Any profits will go directly towards financing ITR Expo 11.

It's officially time to begin our search. We need 13 images (One cover, twelve months) for the 2011 ITR Expo Calendar. Please don't ask about pricing or payment just yet. This thread is solely for the purpose of sourcing ITR Expo / Track related shots for the calendar.

My goal is to have this in everyone's hands by mid December. That is a tight deadline, so the key is to get images posted so we can begin our selection process. Josh (ITRSport) will be handling printing again this year. I am also looking at offering a track logbook for those whom are interested. (Idea credit = Mark Krumme)

PLEASE only submit images that:
-Are your intellectual property
-You have access to a full-resolution copy of

Do you want that one picture that you commented on on my FB the other day? The reflection in the rear glass is definitely VIR if that's track related

The helmet makes that pic epic, but it would have to be crop'd to work for the calendar.

very true, but it could be a split layout with another image.

My favorite part about that image is that it wasn't planned, I just got off track and went up to my 3rd floor room at the lodge and go "oh man that's a cool picture"

Is there any major reason to keep it strictly an expo calendar as opposed to an "itr community" calendar?

Trying not to make it a loaded question but I think content might be a little easier and dynamic. The first calendar had the benefit of two past expos at picturesque VIR. If that trend continues then the 2012 calendar will not see a blade of grass in the background

I like that idea Steezy... more of a community than Expo would be a great idea. You could have things like meat pics, WTDR event pics and so on.

That picture of Ryan/canuckr's old 97R is not from Expo, so I think if it's related...you should be good. I don't make them though.

Last year's calendar was ITR Expo themed, but like Jay pointed out not all the pictures were from Expo. The only requirement was that they were track related.

So to clarify, is this calendar designed to be track related only?

I think it would be awesome, if track only related to have 12 different pics from 12 different tracks.

Yes, that was how we ran it last year. Novel idea to shoot for. Let's keep the submissions coming.

Maybe you could dedicate a month to pictures of all of the people, maybe a collage.

Put it on feb and place hearts all over.

We do have some guys who like to wear pink.

Or have girl'sh hair cuts...

In any way, shape or form, I want 2 please.
