I believe he means don't just dump the clutch, let it catch a little before you let it out all the way.

good luck, I 'm going racing this weekend with my crew and there is one wrx that wants to race me, he has Intake , down pipe and exhast. and I only have Intake and header but my car is not been runing good so I'not sure if i'm going. Last summer I beat him like 3 or 4 times on the track, both cars were stock but now he thinks he can beat me.

to the canyons? hahahaha his car weights more he'll hit the ground faster...hahaha JFWY. Anyway be carefull he might have slipped a boost controller in there and be boosting 19psi and blow your doors off.....it should be a really even race if not.....stock vs stock...you'll win but though cars respond really well to mods....keep us updated.....

These sort of activities should are not tolerated.

If you are drag racing him, why don't you post this in the drag racing forum?

19psi on a stock WRX with just a boost controller? That seems a bit high...

I beat him. Actually we raced two ways, track and then an autocross. The track, i barely came away...his front was at the end of my door. Since i beat him on the track, he got all pissed cause i killed his pride. He then challenged me to an autocross format race. Lets just say, I am crazy and will my push my car as far as it can go. He on the other hand will not do anything crazy or anything that "hurts" his car. I beat him pretty bad in that, by a few seconds. I shut him you could say. It was fun!!! :D
Thanks for all your help guys...feathering the clutch = thumbs up!

Good to hear that you're keeping it on the track, and nice job whooping up on some WRX tail.

I am quiet impressed with the FF Type R. SHe is Nimble and mad braking power. Seems to hug the road. People don't really think about all that when they challenge an R. It may not be the fastest off the line but it can surely be first across the finish line

Good Job
