For those of you that autox regularly (once every couple months or so), did you notice your ITR feeling looser/slower (suspension and engine) after 10 or 15 events?

I'm currently considering to buy an 2001 ITR thats' been autox'd regularly, so any input would be helpful.

If properly maintained the car should be fine.

Yeah it does wear on the car, so do look for the obvious signs...

Good luck- should have no worry tho.

Well duh!

You need to do a lot of maintenence on regular intervals, for example, every five events you should be adjusting your valves, and every event, you should be changing your oil and possibly tranny fluid, depending on how messy you shift. New plugs every ten events assuming they're short, amongst other things, just do what the service manual says you should be doing every thirty thousand miles, every five thousand miles worth of track time. Later!

The great thing about the ITR is that the more you give it , the more it wants.
This car was built to be driven.....so get out there and drive it!!

See my post on the 30K tune up, that's my story.

Valves, oil, brakes and gas...and off you go!
