Well, I finally got my motor back from Endyn, the long awaited, but hopefully worth the waite motor. I sent it to Endyn over three months ago, and had just got it back yesterday, along with a very hefty bill for over $4K, I also received it COD, and get this one, over $500 shipping and handling. The guys at Endyn may be great at building motors, and are very nice guys, but when it comes to dealing with freight companies, they're a little lacking. I got the shipping company to reduce it to $255 by dropping half of the rediculous charges. I happened to have worked at a Ferrari; Porsche dealer up until recently, so I know how much it costs to ship a car to houston from FL, and it was only a couple bucks more, so as I pointed that out, they agreed to reduce the rate.

In any case, I got the motor back, and anything that could have went wrong DID!!! Endyn forgot to put my engine harness on like I asked, which is fine, because out of the car, it's a joke to do any way. The one thing they forgot to do that killed me, and there were other things, but this was the kicker, is that they didn't install the flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate, which without a clutch alignment tool, for those of you who have tried it, takes forever. After that we ran into a whole slew of problems, one after the next.

All in all, as much as I bitch, we got it all in with the exception of the axles in a matter of about 5 hours, which considering that the tranny was not on the motor, the accesories were a pain to get in place, and we didn't have a lift to use, and to add insult to injury, my engine hoist was locked in my buddies race trailor, which he lost the keys to on the way back from Laguna Seca, we did ok. WHEW, what a mouth full.

Well I'm glad to have it back, and hopefully, knock on wood, assuming no unforseen accidents happen, I should have it up and running first thing tomorrow afernoon, and broken in before Hot Import Nights in a like a week. I'll let all of you know if it was worth it, when I rack up a couple miles on it.

WISH ME LUCK GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Later!
