Question for George Knighton

Post by H.I.D's »

What kind of Roll-bar do you have in your ITR? Could you post some pics, i'd like to see the fitment in the car. If you can post them, i'd really apreciate it.
Thanks

It's the regular ol'e Autopower ERW setup, with cross brace and harness bar.

I'll ask Bryan if he has pictures.

It fits well enough that you can replace the rear panels and even use the rear speakers.

OK... Nobody seems to have detail pictures of the rollbar in my car.

However, Scott Lear has an online installation treatise at http://www.sandmracing.com/srollbar.html.

This is exactly the same rollbar that I have, and the instructions are good.

Just two things.
  • 1. You can keep the rear speakers, if you want. It'll be clear to you when you're doing it that it's possible if you just reconnect the speakers at one mounting point.

    2. Don't forget the padding. Unpadded rollbars are dangerous both on the track and on the street. :)
Good luck with your rollbar.
