SW388 on a nbp itr

just thinking about getting these rims is black for my R. they are a steal on ebay at around $400 with tires. it kinda seems too good to be true.
anyways let me know what you all think about these rims.

For that price (assuming they are not horribly bent or something) they are too good to be true. Are you sure they are not Rota Slipstreams (SW388 copies)? They usually go for $400-450 or so.

I'm going to have to agree. SW388's go for more than 400 used without tires, let alone with.

Hmmm. If they really are SW388, then they probably really are a steal. The price should be more like $1400.

thanks for the advice...i do think those rims look really clean though
i will wait till the cash flow is higher to buy some real ones...

There's nothing wrong with slipstreams, they do weigh more than real SW388's if if you just want the looks, who cares? The rota's are good rims, just make sure they are rotas and not one of the other knockoffs (which may or may not be good)

As long as you
know it's cast Rota you're getting and not forged lightweight Spoon SW388, I think that's fine.
I have Spoons on the ITR and Rota on the EP3.
