im finally getting my car back from the body shop after 3 months i am doing the jdm conversion im picking it up monday and the guy told me it was going to cost me 2000.00 my jaw dropped half the time the car was just sitting in the shop wht do you guys think of 2000.00 for labor !!!!i had no idea labor would be this much after he told me it was going to be around 1200.00!!!!!!

Screw that! You can drop an SR20DET into a 240sx complete with labor on every major electrical component and gauge install for $1k so while $1200 seems a little high for me, it's still fair. $2k? That's kinda ridiculous IMO.

he screwed you...you shoulda made some kind of contract or written agreement for that big of a job...
