My story to date.

Bought 98 R 0940 in may after selling 2000 R #891.

Dyno'd in May stock and made 159.9/110 whp
Dyno'd same day with an AEM and made 162.1/112.3 whp

Dyno'd Oct 20 with AEM, JDM 4-1/Carsound cat, 00/01 ITR intake cam, Stock Exhaust, Hondata Intake Manifold gasket, Stock ECU, Toda Cam gears set to Zero and made 178.1/125.3 whp

Dyno'd with my Power FC with a base map and made 179.5/126.9 whp. Did not go through the proper steps to tune so will have to report back.

Wow! That's great! Just remember to turn off your A/C...I forgot to do that once...(it's an honest mistake!)

You got this dyno'ed at AEM in Hawthorne? I think JUN is cheaper...but you have to set up an appointment. Do you have to do that with AEM as well?

Isn't it stock the Type-R (USDM) is 195 HP*, and due to the Exhaust Manifold in the JDM Type-R, the JDM one comes out at 197 HP*?

*To the flywheel.

that is approximately right. Best we know. JDM also has higher compression.

What sort of weight savings have you done and was that on slicks? Your MPH is kinda low for street tires. What was your 60' time.

No header?

13.3???????

That track I think is a lil short. I put down 194.3whp and 13lbs of torque and ran a 14.1@99mph on street tires, with a 2.2 60ft and a 9.3 1/8 mile

my mods are as follows:
Toda B's
Toda cams
Toda springs
Spoon header
Spoon head gasket
(GSR) AEM CAI
Test pipe
APEXI VAFC
B&M Fuel Presure reg.
that's what I had when I dyno'ed it. Since then I've added:
(TypeR) AEM CAI
AEM fuel rail
Tanabe exhaust
NITO 555 drag radials
The cars weight was 26??lbs with me in it. The temp was about 80 here in Louisiana with humi at about 90%. I don't know about that 13.3 man.....

14.7 is a good average. Some as fast as 14.4 and as slow as 15.2.
