Hey guys,

nother sad story my baby was stolen off my f...ing personnal driveway last night!!! Probably the only evening i did not bother
putting it away in the garage. LOL.

Anyway if any of you hear about stock PY 2000 ITR whole
or parts let me know. This was a babied 12000Km completely
stock car. Obviously no luck yet from Boomerang.

This was ITR 200 PY #789

over and out.

We have to do something about bloody theft.
I always thought the risk was high at the mall or something
but my own driveway?!! Just wish I could get a few minutes
with the bastard.... Now I just got pics and a LAPS trophy in B/S
class to look at.

Hey Trexman,

Are you the one who participated at a Solo 2 event with the CADL? :?:

Sorry for your ITR. Is your driveway close to you 'cause I do leave my ITR in the driveway in front of my garage which is sort of behind the building. Today, I went to JDM in Montreal North but there's no sign of a PY ITR. I'll ask my cousin to check it out over the weekend 'cause they will be there to pick up a JDM GSR engine.

thanks for the support Blaak,

yes i did a bit of solo 2 but mainly solo 1 (2000-2001).
last year and this year I was too busy.

Yes my parking was in front of my house. I also
learned that my buddy got his '98 R stolen in Granby last week.

man this is tough. Should I get a new one wit the insurance
money or just take a type S until i buy something else...
not sure anymore.

The Boomie was not efficient?! Did you have an alarm, too? I'm just trying to find out what everyone has as a protection to the car around MTL 'cause BBQMan doesn't leave his baby anywhere. I don't make it a habit to park anywhere but getting it stolen on your own driveway. There's no stopping these morons. I heard some guys were suggesting to remove the wing and stickers to make as sleeper as possible but way buy a good-looking car and make it ugly. People work hard to make their cars look good, and we have to do the reverse!

Anyhow, I hope that it'll turn up somewhere while keeping an eye out there.

Someone at work told me that all they have to do is put a lead cover over the car; that way, no signal may go through. Perhaps, we should have a look at the kind of people who buys such item. For what other use would a lead cover used for.

not sure who would sell lead covers to start with ???

anyhow I thought the key/chip with the boomie was enough
but nope. By the way I would not use any 1st gen boomie anymore they are useless. The second gen with the key chain
checker is better...for now. A good alarm is also a must as I can
see now... Never got anything stolen with a good alarm.

my ful mod CRX was stolen after I owned it for 3 1/2 years i exchanged it to the dealer for my first miata and once the alarm was removed it was stolen 10 days later, on the dealers lot.

also my Civic SI never got broken in except in the 3 months where
my alarm was broken. Stole the Alpine radio and CD changer.
Funny thing is that this radio was 10 years old. Guess the alpines
never look aged that much.

Anynody knows if a custom car cover for a type-R (CCC) would fit
on a type-S?

Ciao, ex. 2000-789 :?

I put everything onto my ITR: Boom II, alarm, and even a steering wheel double-hooked bar just as a habit.

No, I don't work at TRAC Racing but I am part of their Solo Team. I know BBQMan since I started Autocrossing. He made it easy to decide in getting the ITR. Thanks B-man, I haven't regret since. Next year, I will autocross it since I wanted another year with a CRX.

It's funny, I don't really see that many ITR's in around here. I'll have to keep a bigger eye on my car. What's cool, is when we give each other the thumbs up when we cross each other.

Anyways, I hope they find it and that Boomerang gives you the Boom II for free.

Blaak, on the lookout

Hey Trexman, I remember you at the races.....first with the R and then with the rex.......I forgot your name but I will look it up in the archives.
Bummer about the theft, but Montreal North is dangerous for cars...I think......
Congrads to dupes for your wise choice and becoming a ITR owner. If I can ever help you with mod choices, let me know........And yes Jon's car is coming along pretty good, although it is a long process.

Blaak, I finally got Patterson to take his r out for a few events this year...he should be at Quebec and PMG..........I threatened his girlfriend with violence....hehehe

See ya at the races and never take your eye off your 'R'

can't remember were I saw this signature...but it is fitting.....

Thieves should get cancer for christmas......

That would be me!

Bastards stole it right out of the underground parking at my place...But thanks to Boomerang, a local chop-shop was busted up.

Good luck with everything; there's still a chance of recovery.
