I finally sold my supercharged R. I was really pleased with the price I got, but I also think that the buyer got a good deal. He saw it listed on Autotrader. One of the main reasons that he bought it was that I had mentioned in the ad that the performance modifications were done at Evans Honda in Newport, TN. Apparently some of the guys up in Indiana had heard of Evans Honda and would vouch for their good reputation. So here is a big "Thank You" to Chuck Evans.

I also have to thank the guys at KLR in Knoxville for installing an O2 simulator in time for me to deliver the car without a CEL.

Congrats on selling the car...Didn't you bring that car to the HT Nashville meet? CW ITR w/ the Jackson Supercharger and about 70K on the odometer? Anyways what car is replacing the R?

Yeah, I had it listed here for $17,500. I got $17,200, but I had to deliver it to Cleveland, TN. I had heard so much about how modifications don't add to the value that I was afraid that I wouldn't get much for it. I loved that car, but I had a baby on the way so I had to get a family car. I just got a new V-6 Camry. It's a nice ride, but I feel about ten years older driving it.

Camrys are very solid and respectable cars though, my wife's Camry is a 93 with 166000 miles on it, and all I've done is basic maintenance (timing belt, suspension, etc.) Sad thing is though, soon I will have to sell my turbo DSM winterbeater, so that she can get a baby carrying vehicle as well, an I'll be stuck with the Camry. Oh well, I guess we can be old, it's not against the law. (the turbo R will stay though, I have goals for next year!!)
