welp I mounted the BFG's and tuned it to higher boost. I only got 2 passes on the radials in cause it rained out after that. first pass I bogged out of the hole with a 2.5 60ft and still went 13.9@104. next pass I got the revs up and pulled a 2.024 60ft and went 13.139@108mph. I am sure I can pull 1.9 60fts with the tires so I am goin to go to the track again next week and go for 12's. I am still on the stock B-pipe too. I am pretty happy with it

What size turbo are you running, and how much boost are you at? Just curious what after market internals you had as well or if any?... Nice run!

greddy 18G....15psi. stock internals. inline pro head gasket and block gaurd, 450ccinjectors, 12:1 FMU, missing link, AFC, 255lph pump. the car bogged the launch and I am sure that the 2.25" Bpipe necking to 2.0" at the flange is taking away some top end. I know I can go 12's on the set up the way it is now. then race gas and 20psi and see what it does

15-20psi on a stock block!?!?! Are you serious, dude thats not gonna last too long, especially at 20psi. I'd start saving or hope you have enough money to replace the block when it breaks... you've got more balls then I running that much boost through the motor (kept internally stock). Good Luck

inline pro runs 22psi on their stock internaled honda's with no standalone. it is all in the tuning man. I know a good many blocks that have gone 140kmiles or more on 17psi daily

Yeah bro, the exhaust is a huge bottle neck. I always run open downpipe at the strip now (3" all the way) and it is devastating what a difference it makes in power.

You have balls my friend. Like Myles Bautista (RevHard) says "people who take chances break records". Good luck in reaching all your goals!!
Hope you only break the records and not the engine!

thanks jan. I did my research before I turned up the boost for sure. the motor is coming out over winter and gettin sleeved and forged pistons and rods. and I am goin for around 1000cc injectors with a hondata. I would like to run about 17-19psi daily and 24 or so on race gas at the track by this time next year.

as long as the weather holds we will see if it will go 12's thursday

I was thinking of doing the same but now I'm looking at the DART block which is about $1900, I might sell my stock motor for around $3000, do the Dart block with forged pistons, rods and crank and then go insane with the boost. But Hondata will come first, I'm aiming for December or January on that. next summer will be wicked!

well if you decide against dart my friends shop has a deal with golden eagle. they can do it for a decent price. darts are very nice though. also I think you will be ok on the stock crank up to 500+whp honda cranks are pretty strong from the factory

Yea, I know stock cranks are strong, but if I sell my long block, I'll have to get a crank anyway, so might as well go forged and knife-edged.

Jan I just found out that if you use the DART block you can't run the car in sanctioned events. just something for you to think about

Thanks for the info, but I don't care about that, because I only drag to beat my own best time (test & tune), other than that I mostly drive the car on the street.
