Hi,

I recently lost my previous car and I'm looking into purchasing another one. The car I'm looking into seriously is an Acura Integra and low and behold I found this forum. I've never had an import before so this is my first one. A few questions I had were.

Is this car pretty reliable?
I can see it's customizable big time, any fav sites?
Are they somewhat fast?
This next car I'm going to purchase has to have some good acceleration I guess this ties into the is it fast question?
What kind of upgrades and peformace upgrades are tied to the trim levels I seem to see a few different levels, like GS , GS-R, Type-R etc.. could anyone tell me the difference in the trims along with peformace wise. And what's the most popular.

If there's anything else you could help me out with in showing me what's good in an Acura Integra including showing pictures it would help out greatly in this frustrating decision in finding another car. :)

Integra recommended...

Hi,

I highly recommend the Integra as it is a brilliantly engineered and built car. I bought one for my son last November and after messing around with it like car guys do, I found it to be a really, really fine car. In fact, I wound up startingf a business based on building, rebuilding and modifying strictly Integras. So far, I have purchased around 20 or so and sold most of them to nothing but satisfied car buffs. These cars are a blast!!

We installed a turbo on my sons car and it really screams!! I now own a Type R and several GSR's 97 and up. The Type R is a "keeper" as I sold my Harley to acquire it. The GSR's are for sale at really good prices and I have loads of Integra parts available. You won't go wrong getting an Integra.
