Apexi V-AFCII

So i wanted to pick this up i've got DC headers, Comptech Exhaust, AEM cam gears, MSD ignition,AEM CAI, Unorthodox Pully, but the few people i've told i wanted to pick one up to told me it would be the stupidest and most worthless mod to do. They all say to just get a good chip instead, Any suggestions??
