What exactly is the difference in all aspects between a '98 and '01 ITR?
I know that in '98 all Integras got the facelift and the Canadian '01 Type-R got the Red rear seat but that's all I know of.
Your expertise is well appreciated.

My Canadian '01 had no air con, an imobilizer(a very great thing!), red front and rear seats. I've heard in various places that there was a slight difference mechanically to the engine but I'm not sure. You'll probably get yelled at for asking a question like this because some other people asked similar questions in the past.. hehe. I'm sure someone will give you a good list!

I did a search on here and on Honda-Tech and nothing came up.

Not sure about Canada but the 00-01 ITR have a more agressive intake cam.

Ken: (this is for USDM Cars)
98, No AC except as a dealer option. 01 AC standard.
98, faux CF gauge cluster trim, 01 same trim but with other faux CF pieces in the center console, door trim pieces, etc
98 CW wheels, 01 gunmetal wheels
98 no immobilizer, 01 immobilizer
98 supposedly slower ECU, 01 supposedly faster (never saw proof)
98 97-98 intake cam, 01 practically a CTR intake cam.
98 type-r key, 01 normal new style acura key
98 leather covered shift knob, 01 "ti coated" shift knob
different floormats IIRC, or maybe 00 was the unique one and 01 went back to the older style.. I forget..
uhmm.. that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

2000 changed the OBD2 revision and the ECU parameters are deifferent due to different emissions controls and cam profiles.

I didnt know the 01 Canadian ITR received a red rear seat? Matching the front Recaro red seats? If this is true, is it even offered on the JDM ITR's or am I just blind?
If so, where could I find this red rear seat for sale for my USDM ITR?

In the classifieds on here or Honda-Tech, that's a start. Or contact a canadian honda/acura dealer? I'd start in the classifieds on the boards.

The Canadian seats are the same as the USDM seats except for the color. No recaros... unfortunately.

I would think the only place to find that red rear seat would be to phone around to Canadian Acura dealers... but even if they could get one their prices must be crazy!!!
